Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri Lawmakers are working to reconcile the new fiscal year budget for the state as the 2025 legislative session winds down.
State Representative of the 118th District, Mike McGirl, says House members will be looking at the latest Senate version before sending it back to Senators for approval, or further negotiating.
According to McGirl, additional budget differences between the House and Senate include higher education funding concerns and earmarked projects.
The 2025 Missouri Legislative Session ends May 16, 2025.
