MSHSAA Adjusting Handbook After Passage of SB63

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Organizers with the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) are introducing rule changes in response to the passage of Senate Bill 63.

The legislation allows an opportunity for home schooled individuals to try out, and participate, in public school activities for the school district the student resides.

MSHSAA Communications Director, Andrew Kauffman, says work has begun on rule changes to comply with state law.

According to senate.mo.gov, schools that do not comply to changes required by Senate Bill 63 could have activities association memberships revoked.
