Mobile Home Fire on Village Drive Displaces Family, Kills Two Animals

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Thursday morning fire destroyed a mobile home on Village Drive and left a family displaced.

Emergency crews were dispatched just after 10 a.m. to 12477 Village Drive for a reported mobile home fire. Units from Stations 1 and 2 responded, along with automatic aid from the Ste. Genevieve Fire District.

As firefighters made their way to the scene, they observed a large column of smoke visible from a distance. Upon arrival, crews found the mobile home heavily involved in fire.

No injuries were reported in the incident. However, two animals were lost in the fire.
