St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff's Office is nearing 10,000 calls for service since the beginning of the year.
Sheriff Jeff Crites gave his report to the St. Francois County Commission on Tuesday, and said that they were likely to reach the 10,000 mark by the next commission meeting in July.
He explained to commissioners what would count as a call for service:
Calls are classified by the dispatcher, based on the information given by the caller at the time.
