Patrol Members Remind Drivers Bad Choices Cause Crashes

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - After a deadly 4th of July weekend on Missouri roadways Missouri State Highway Patrol members are reminding you crashes can be caused by bad choices made by drivers.

The Patrol's Corporal Dallas Thompson says there are three things a driver can choose to do that could increase the chance of an accident.

8 people lost their lives on Missouri roadways this past 4th of July holiday counting period while over 100 people were injured. Thompson reminds us a designated driver is a good idea if you plan on attending any celebration involving alcohol.
