Pedestrian Hit and Killed in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from DeSoto, 38 year old Andrew Katz, is dead after he was hit by a car in Jefferson County Monday night. Reports from the state patrol show the accident happened shortly after 7 on Route TT, south of highway 55. Katz was standing next to his motorcycle in the northbound lane, when a vehicle being driven north by 18 year old Mariah McWilliams ran into him, and the bike. McWilliams, who was wearing her seat belt, was not injured. Katz died at the scene.
