Rotary Involved in Shoe Project

(St. Francois County, MO) Members of the St. Francois County Rotary Club are involved in a special shoe drive to collect closed toed new shoes to be distributed internationally, and across the United States, to allow children to go to schools. The President of the St. Francois County Rotary Club, Annette Schnable, says they've already received a donation from a local business.

According to Schnable the Rotary club is also involved in an effort to bring indoor water to the homes in the Navajo Nation in the United States. That project will benefit from the proceeds of the B104 KFMO Night at the Farmington Waterpark event scheduled for this Tuesday night from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Farmington Water Park. Entry to that event is just one dollar.
