Special Giveaways From Discover Farmington

(Farmington, MO.) The tourism group, Discover Farmington, is involved in gift certificate giveaways that target certain groups. The promotion is an effort to assist small businesses in the Farmington area. One of Discover Farmington's board members, Laura Mclean, says they started by doing something for citizens.

Mclean says the next gift card giveaway is for high school seniors. She explains people should nominate a senior from either Farmington, St Paul Lutheran High School, or a home schooled senior.

According to Mclean once the high school contest is done they have plans for a giveaway for workers on the front lines of the fight against COVID19. The week after will be dedicated to healthcare workers. The following week is for public safety employees and in the final week of the promotion nurses will be honored.
