St. Francois County Accident

(St. Francois County, MO.) Two Park Hills teenagers, 17 year old Znoa M. Lee, and a 16 year old female, are being treated for serious injuries after a one vehicle accident in St. Francois County Tuesday. Reports from Troopers with the Highway Patrol show the wreck took place just after 8 p.m. when an S.U.V. driven south on Old Vandergriff Road near Bannister Road, 17 year old David J. Lee, also of Park Hills, was traveling too fast for icy conditions on the road. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree. Znoa Lee received serious injuries as did the 16 year old female juvenile passenger. Znoa Lee was taken to Parkland health center in Farmignton while the female was flown to Cardinal Glennon's Children's Hospital in St. Louis. Another occupant, a 16 year old male was moderately injured. He was taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital. David Lee was not injured. Everyone except the 16 year old male was wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred.
