St. Francois County Commission Approves Final Purchase of US Bank Building

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Commission has approved the final totals for the purchase of the US Bank building in Farmington.

The amount totals $1,515,000 plus closing costs, which are yet to be figured out. Presiding commissioner Harold Gallaher says the official closing of the deal has been delayed a week by the sellers.

The cost is to be paid using funds from the General Stabilization Fund. In other commission business, the commission raised the maximum dollar amount for its informal bid policy from $1500 to $2500, and approved the listing of several items to be sold by the Road & Bridge department.
