Tractor-Trailer Overturns on Highway 49 Near Annapolis

Iron Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A tractor-trailer overturned Sunday evening on Highway 49, about two miles north of Annapolis, causing a lengthy traffic disruption.

The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. on December 14, 2025, when the tractor-trailer wrecked and tipped onto its side while traveling northbound on Highway 49. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the highway closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage and reopen the roadway. Traffic was slowed in the area during the cleanup.

It is not clear if there were any injuries.
