Washington County Traffic Accident

(Washington County, MO.) A Potosi Teenager, 19 year old Mariah P. Benson, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a one car wreck Wednesday morning in Washington County just after 11 o'clock. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say Benson was driving south on Highway U, north of Zinc Mine Road, when she lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road, crashed into an embankment, and rolled over. Benson was wearing her seatbelt when the wreck occurred. She was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
