Washington State Park Streams Program

(De Soto, MO) Washington State Park workers are set to host a MO Streams program Saturday, August 26th, in which kids and adults are welcome to learn about all things aquatic in Missouri. The schedule of events includes a Petroglyph Tour at 2 p.m. at the petroglyph site. It's a tour of the petroglyphs, the park's history carved in stone. You can Learn to Fish at 4 p.m. at the boat ramp. Bring a fishing pole and learn to fish with park representatives. Come alone or bring your children as everyone will have a chance to participate. The Stream Bubble at 7 p.m. will be held at the campground amphitheater. Explore an inflatable bubble model of a Missouri stream, complete with imitation algae and cutouts of native fish and crustaceans.
