Arcadia Valley to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with July 4th Event at Fort Davidson

Pilot Knob, Mo. (KFMO) - The Arcadia Valley will be celebrating a major milestone this Independence Day with a special 250th July 4th Celebration at Fort Davidson - Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site on Saturday, July 4.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together for a full afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, and family activities.

Dan Stiles with the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce says the chamber has been working for months to prepare for the celebration and ensure a strong turnout for the historic occasion.

Festivities will begin at 2 p.m. and will include live entertainment throughout the day, a cruise-in for classic and specialty vehicles, a Miss 4th of July Contest, a variety of vendors and food trucks, and will conclude with fireworks after dark.

Officials say the event is part of the community’s celebration of America’s 250th Birthday and encourages residents and visitors from across the region to attend.
