Arrest Made Following Theft Investigation at Rocky Creek Youth Ranch

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An arrest has been made following a theft investigation at Rocky Creek Youth Ranch in St. Francois County.

According to the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy responded to the facility on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, after receiving a report of a possible theft. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that an adult employee was suspected of stealing medication intended for children in the care of the facility. Authorities say additional evidence was provided during the initial response that supported the allegation.

Following further investigation, the deputy established probable cause and arrested the employee, identified as Kevin Brown of Potosi, in connection with the theft. Brown was transported to the St. Francois County Jail for processing.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released at this time.
