AT&T Wireless Outage Affects St. Francois County, Other Carriers Report Issues

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - AT&T wireless customers across the Parkland are dealing with a widespread outage Sunday.

The outage began around 3 p.m. Sunday and is affecting customers in St. Francois County. According to AT&T’s Service Outage Information website, the disruption is due to what the company describes as a “transport failure.”

Customers report their phones displaying “SOS Only” or showing a single bar of signal. However, despite the appearance of limited connectivity, many users say they have been unable to place calls, send messages, or access mobile data services.

AT&T indicates that service is expected to be restored by 6 a.m. Monday, April 20.

In addition to AT&T customers, some users on T-Mobile and Verizon networks have also reported service disruptions, though the extent of those outages is unclear.

Residents are encouraged to monitor updates from their service providers and use alternative communication methods if needed until service is fully restored.
