St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two people were injured in an ATV crash Friday evening in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:43 p.m. on May 23, 2026 along Lake View Drive near Scenic View Circle.
Troopers say a 2005 Polaris Sportsman was traveling eastbound when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, overturned, and ejected both the driver and passenger.
The driver, a 47-year-old man from De Soto, suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
The passenger, a 42-year-old woman from St. Louis, suffered serious injuries.
The driver was transported by the St. Francois County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson, while the passenger was flown by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment.
The ATV sustained minor damage and was released to a friend at the scene.
