B104 KFMO Night at the Water Park Raises Nearly $1,900 for Shop with a Cop

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The annual B104 KFMO Night at the Water Park fundraiser proved to be another successful evening of community support for St. Francois County Shop with a Cop.

Held Tuesday night, the event welcomed 360 attendees and raised $1,896.51 through admission fees, raffle sales, and participation in the popular duck race. The proceeds will help support this year's Shop with a Cop program, which provides Christmas shopping opportunities for local children in need.

St. Francois County Shop with a Cop President Lora Henson said she was very pleased with the turnout and the community's continued generosity.

Henson also shared her hope that everyone who attended left with a greater appreciation for the program and the difference it makes for local families during the holiday season.

Through the Shop with a Cop program, each participating child receives $125 to purchase Christmas gifts, helping create a memorable holiday experience while building positive relationships with local law enforcement and community volunteers.

Last year, the program served 627 children across St. Francois County. Funds raised during events like Night at the Water Park help ensure the program can continue providing assistance to hundreds of local children each Christmas season.
