Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - The Bismarck Fire Protection District responded to a residential structure fire Tuesday morning in the Holiday Shores area.
At approximately 5:40 a.m., Bismarck Fire was dispatched by St. Francois County 911 to a reported structure fire on Oriole Drive. Crews arrived on scene to find a single-story residence fully involved. Firefighters quickly deployed attack lines and were able to bring the fire under control and extinguish the flames.
Bismarck Fire Protection District was assisted by multiple agencies, including the Irondale Fire Protection District, Leadwood Fire Protection District, Leadington Fire Department, Farmington Fire Department, Caledonia Fire Protection District, Belgrade Fire Department, and the Potosi Fire Protection District. The American Red Cross is assisting the resident who was displaced as a result of the fire.
The Missouri Division of Fire Safety has been contacted and will conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
