Burglary Investigation Leads to Two Arrests in Iron County

Iron Co., (KFMO) - A burglary investigation by the Iron County Sheriff's Office has led to the arrests of two individuals following an incident reported February 7, 2026, at a residence on Route AA.

Deputies responded to the call and obtained surveillance video showing the suspects and a vehicle believed to be used in the burglary. A deputy recognized the vehicle from the area, helping advance the investigation. During follow-up efforts on February 8, deputies recovered a stolen side-by-side utility vehicle hidden in a nearby wooded area.

Further investigation led officers to a residence in Bismarck, where deputies, assisted by the Bismarck Police Department and the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department, located the suspects and recovered items reported stolen. Patrick Vuichard was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and multiple stealing offenses, including stealing a firearm. He is being held without bond at the Iron County Jail. Amanda Flemming was also arrested on stealing charges, including stealing a firearm.

She was released on a $10,000 surety bond, placed on GPS monitoring, and ordered to remain at her residence.
