Caledonia Woman Injured in Washington County Crash Sunday Afternoon

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Caledonia woman was injured in a crash Sunday afternoon in Washington County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:20 p.m. on Missouri Highway 21, just south of Cyclone Road. Troopers say a 2014 Kia Sedona driven by a 66-year-old woman was heading south when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The car began to slide, struck a driveway, and became airborne before hitting the ground and coming to rest on the right side of the roadway.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
