St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Cape Notre Dame Baseball Head Coach Tom Bolen is thanking the community for its support following Tuesday’s bus accident that injured four people.
During Wednesday afternoon’s win against North County, Bolen provided an update on one of the players who remained hospitalized after the crash. Bolen said the outpouring of prayers and encouragement from the school community and surrounding area has meant a great deal to the family and team following the accident.
Bolen also shared that his son is eager to return to the baseball field as recovery efforts continue.
The accident happened Tuesday and involved the Cape Notre Dame baseball team bus. According to the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department, a total of four people were injured in the crash.
