Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The CASA of the Parkland’s 6th annual Festival of Trees kicks off Friday, bringing festive décor, community spirit, and support for local children in foster care.
Executive Director JoAnna Watts says a variety of organizations and individuals contribute decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday items for the event.
Watts adds that anyone can bid on the items, with bidding opening at noon on Thanksgiving Day. The Festival of Trees serves as CASA’s largest fundraiser of the year, helping the organization continue its mission of advocating for children in the court system.
The event runs Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days at the First State Community Center in Farmington.
