Central R-3 Voters Approve Proposition Rebels

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Voters in the Central R-3 School District approved Proposition Rebels during Tuesday’s General Municipal Election in St. Francois County. According to unofficial results released by the county clerk’s office, the measure passed with 625 yes votes, or 71.59 percent, while 248 voters, or 28.41 percent, voted no.

Central R-3 Superintendent Dr. Zech Payne says community involvement was key in helping the proposition earn support from voters.

School officials say the approval gives the district the green light to move forward with the next phase tied to the measure.
