Closure of Route 47 Bridge Over Mill Creek Delayed One Week

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The planned closure of the Missouri Route 47 bridge over Mill Creek in Washington County has been postponed by one week.

UDT, LLC, working with MoDOT, now expects to close the bridge northeast of Potosi near Cadet on Monday, September 15. The bridge, built in the 1960s, is undergoing a full deck replacement along with updated bridge rails and new guardrails. The project is scheduled to continue through the end of October.

During construction, Route 47 will be closed, and motorists will be directed to a signed detour using Routes 67, 8, and 21.
