Crash on Highway 21 in Washington County Injures Several, Including Children

Washingto Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Several people, including three juveniles, were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Washington County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 5:10 p.m. on March 8 on Missouri Highway 21 at Franklin Road. Troopers say a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse had stopped in the roadway to make a left turn when a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the rear of the vehicle. The driver of the Tahoe, a 37-year-old man from Potosi, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Washington County Memorial Hospital.

Three juvenile passengers in the Tahoe, girls ages 7, 10, and 15 from Potosi, sustained minor injuries and were also taken by private vehicle to Washington County Memorial Hospital. 

A 22-year-old woman from Cadet, a 26-year-old woman from Potosi, and a 56-year-old man from Potosi, all occupants of the Traverse, suffered minor injuries. They were transported by Washington County EMS to Washington County Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Traverse, a 24-year-old man from Cadet, was not reported injured.
