De Soto Man Charged with Felony After High-Speed Fleeing from Pevely Police

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - 21-year-old Dylan Wayne Forshee, of De Soto, faces felony charges after allegedly fleeing from a Pevely Police officer who attempted to stop him on Commercial Boulevard, according to court records.

Forshee was charged on May 1, 2025 with aggravated fleeing a stop or detention, a Class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. He was arrested on May 14, 2025 and remains held on a $5,000 cash-only bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro. The probable-cause statement reveals that on December 20, 2024, Forshee was driving erratically—speeding and weaving through traffic—on Commercial Boulevard in Pevely. When a Pevely officer attempted to pull him over, Forshee did not stop. Instead, he allegedly sped away at speeds reaching up to 110 mph. The officer ended the pursuit after obtaining the vehicle’s ownership information, the report said.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and Forshee is expected to appear in court for further proceedings.
