Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Governor Mike Kehoe has announced eight appointments to various state boards and commissions, along with two county vacancy appointments, including the selection of Amber Henry of De Soto to serve on the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Henry currently serves as the Executive Director of Professional Learning and Workforce Development at Logan University. In that role, she oversees initiatives focused on professional education, workforce preparation, and leadership development.
Before joining Logan University, Henry served as associate vice president for extended learning at Missouri Baptist University. She has also been active in community and public service leadership throughout Jefferson County.
Her service includes time as a board member for Experience Jefferson County and the De Soto Community Foundation. She also served as vice chair of the Jefferson County Health Department.
Henry’s educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Teacher Leadership and Instructional Technology from Walden University, an Education Specialist Degree in Information Systems and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Missouri Baptist University.
Her appointment places a Jefferson County professional in a role that helps oversee standards and regulation involving chiropractic practice in Missouri.
