Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The Desloge Chamber of Commerce helped local families get a head start on their Thanksgiving celebrations by giving away several turkeys Sunday afternoon at the chamber office.
The turkeys were donated by the Desloge Walmart, allowing the chamber to offer them free to anyone who stopped by.
Chamber officials say the giveaway was a way to support the community during the holiday season and ensure more families can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
