Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Desloge recently hosted its annual Chili Cookoff, an event that’s become a favorite tradition among city employees.
City Administrator Stephanie Daffron says the friendly competition began five years ago as a fun way to bring staff together.
Daffron adds that the contest has become quite competitive over the years, with participants putting serious effort into their recipes.
This year’s top honors went to Lieutenant Sean Roney.
