Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - The Doe Run Fire Protection District handled a total of 503 calls for service during 2025, responding to a wide range of emergencies across its coverage area.
According to the district’s annual call summary, responses included fire-related incidents such as residential, commercial, brush, and vehicle fires, along with fire alarms, investigations, and search calls. Crews also handled numerous medical emergencies, including cardiac and respiratory arrests, strokes, seizures, diabetic problems, overdoses, and traumatic injuries. In addition, the district responded to motor vehicle accidents with injuries or entrapment, rescue calls, hazardous situations like gas odors and downed power lines, and assistance calls for other fire agencies.
Officials say the numbers reflect the diverse and demanding nature of calls handled by Doe Run firefighters throughout the year.
