Early Morning Structure Fire Reported at Holiday Shores Lake Development

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Bismarck Fire Protection District responded to a residential structure fire early Tuesday morning in the Holiday Shores Lake Development.

At approximately 1:58 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, crews found the structure well involved with fire. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control and extinguish the flames. Officials say the building was vacant at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The Missouri Division of Fire Safety has been contacted and will investigate the cause of the fire.
