Electrical Fire Temporarily Closes Potosi Walmart

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - Emergency crews responded shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday to a reported first-alarm commercial fire at the Walmart Supercenter in Potosi.

Firefighters found a small electrical fire inside the store. No injuries were reported.

According to Potosi Walmart officials, the store’s Online Pickup and Delivery Department is closed until further notice due to the electrical issue. Officials say the closure will remain in place while crews ensure the area is safe and necessary repairs are completed.

Walmart officials apologized for the inconvenience and say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
