Elks Lodge Packs 85 Christmas Dinner Boxes for Local Families

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The Mineral Area Community Elks in Desloge filled boxes for their annual Christmas turkey dinner program.

Exalted Ruler Louie Seiberlich says the boxes are distributed to families throughout the community who need a little extra help during the holiday season.

This year, volunteers packed 85 boxes, each containing a turkey and all the traditional fixings for a full holiday meal.

Seiberlich says the Elks have been providing these Christmas food boxes for about 40 years, and the organization remains committed to ensuring local families can enjoy a festive holiday meal. These boxes were paid for by donations made by members and a National Elks Grant.
