EMAA Launches Community Needs Assessment, Asking Residents to Help Shape Local Services

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - East Missouri Action Agency is encouraging residents throughout the region to take part in a Community Needs Assessment designed to better understand the real challenges facing individuals and families.

The short survey asks participants to share their experiences and priorities in several key areas, including housing stability, employment opportunities, childcare access, transportation, and other essential services that impact daily life.

Officials with EMAA say the purpose of the assessment is simple: to listen directly to the community rather than rely on assumptions. The feedback collected will help identify the most urgent needs across the region and guide how programs and resources are developed in the future.

The agency says responses will also play a key role in helping secure funding and expand services where they are needed most. By participating, residents are helping ensure that local programs reflect real-world conditions and community priorities.

EMAA is encouraging as many people as possible to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share their input.

The survey can be completed online.
