Explore MAC Tech Event Coming to Mineral Area College

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Mineral Area College is inviting future students to get an up-close look at its technical training programs during the upcoming Explore MAC Tech event.

Auto Tech Instructor James Whaley says the event is designed to give students a real feel for what life is like inside the program and the hands-on training opportunities available at the college.

Whaley says events like Explore MAC Tech help students make more informed decisions about their futures by allowing them to see equipment, meet instructors, and understand the day-to-day expectations of technical careers.

The Explore MAC Tech event highlights Mineral Area College’s commitment to workforce development and career readiness, giving attendees a chance to explore programs in automotive technology and other skilled trades.

Officials say the event continues to grow as more students look toward hands-on career pathways that lead directly into high-demand jobs across the region.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MAC Tech building at the Park Hills campus.
