Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington’s biggest annual celebration is returning this summer, as Farmington Country Days takes place June 5th through June 7th with patriotic theme, "Our American Story," honoring the 250th birthday of the United States.
Executive Director Candy Hente says festivities will begin Friday evening with the traditional parade, setting the tone for a full weekend of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and community events.
Following the parade, the Ozarks Federal Midway will open and continue operating through 5 p.m. on Sunday. Wristbands for rides will be available for $20 on Sunday, while individual ride tickets will cost $1 each. Advance ticket deals will be available starting May 1st, offering seven tickets for $5 at local Farmington banks and Plummer’s Ace Hardware.
Hente also encourages residents to order official Country Days t-shirts through the online store.
Orders must be placed by Monday, April 20th to ensure delivery by May 1st.
Entertainment will be featured across two stages throughout the weekend. The Gazebo Stage in Long Park will host Fame & Fortune on Friday night, followed by performances Saturday from the MAFAA Dixieland Jazz Band, Crossroads, Vinyl Revolution, and Mountain Mischief.
Meanwhile, the Downtown Stage will feature Honky Tonk U, a Toby Keith tribute band, on Friday evening. Saturday’s lineup includes Carson Bock along with Bray & Drew.
Saturday night’s headliner will be rising country artist Kelsey Hart, according to Membership Coordinator Julie Estes.
In addition to LIVE music, a wide range of events are planned, including the Little Miss & Mister contest, Country Days Quilt Show, Sam Scism Car Show, Fireman’s Competition, Prayer Breakfast, photo contest, youth skate event, Moonlight Bike Ride, and tours of the Historic Long House.
Jeremy and Jessica Horton have been named Mr. and Mrs. Country Days 2026.
Applications are currently available for the parade, Country Days Marketplace vendors, and the Koppeis Heating and Cooling Country Days Saloon.
