Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Students at Farmington High School had the opportunity to explore their future Tuesday during a Career Fair that brought together a wide range of employers and career fields from across the region.
The event featured representatives from multiple industries, giving students a chance to ask questions, learn about job requirements, and gain insight into potential career paths. From skilled trades to healthcare and business, the fair aimed to expose students to opportunities they may not have previously considered.
Josh Johnson, RootEd Advisor at Farmington High School, says events like this play a key role in preparing students for life after graduation.
Johnson says the career fair allows students to better understand the options available to them before they leave high school and begin making decisions about college, technical training, or entering the workforce.
School officials say the event is part of an ongoing effort to connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities, helping students make informed decisions about their futures.
