Farmington Man Charged in Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man has been arrested following an extensive investigation by the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau into allegations of child sexual abuse. Authorities say 34-year-old Jeremy W. Major was taken into custody on Friday, October 24, 2025.

He faces multiple felony charges, including Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15, Child Molestation in the Second Degree, and Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy involving a victim under the age of 12.

Major is being held at the St. Francois County Adult Detention Center with bond set at $500,000.
