Farmington Native Promoted to Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington native has been promoted within the Missouri State Highway Patrol and will continue serving communities in St. Francois and Washington counties.

Effective August 1, 2026, Trooper Addie D. Pogue was promoted to the rank of corporal and has been assigned as assistant zone supervisor for Troop C, Zone 14. In his new role, Corporal Pogue will continue serving the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties.

Pogue was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on July 1, 2019, as a member of the Patrol's 108th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 14, where he has served since the beginning of his career.

A native of Farmington, Pogue graduated from Farmington High School in 2015. His promotion became effective August 1, 2026.
