Farmington Police Identify Body Found Near East Karsch Boulevard

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington police have identified the man found deceased last week in a wooded area off East Karsch Boulevard.

Authorities say the body was discovered on September 10 by mowing crews near a small homeless camp just east of 120 East Karsch Boulevard. The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Joseph J. Jones, of Farmington.

An autopsy revealed no trauma or injuries that would suggest foul play. Detectives, along with the Farmington Fire Department, St. Francois County Ambulance, and the County Coroner, assisted at the scene.
