Farmington R-7 Voters Approve Proposition Transfer

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Voters in the Farmington R-7 School District approved Proposition Transfer in Tuesday’s General Municipal Election.

Unofficial results from the St. Francois County Clerk’s Office show the issue passed with 1,674 yes votes, or 64.43 percent, while 924 voters, or 35.57 percent, voted against it.

Farmington R-7 Superintendent Dr. Kyle Gibbs says he is pleased with the outcome and appreciative of the support shown by district voters.

School leaders are expected to continue planning based on the approval of the proposition.
