Farmington Teen Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash on Delassus Road

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 17-year-old male from Farmington was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash late Sunday morning on Delassus Road, just south of Missouri Route 221 in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:07 a.m. when a 2005 Honda Grom overturned, ejecting the driver. The teen was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. The juvenile driver was airlifted by Air Evac to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for treatment of serious injuries.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene by a private party. No other vehicles were involved.
