Farmington to Host First-Ever Christmas Drone Show November 29

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington will light up the sky in a new way this holiday season with its first-ever Christmas Drone Show, part of the 3rd Annual Christmas Kick-Off Celebration.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. on November 29 at the Jefferson Street Plaza in downtown Farmington. Festivities start with a Christmas carol sing-along and a Santa Beard Contest featuring three categories, each offering a $100 prize and a Santa Beard Trophy. Visitors can also enjoy free hot cocoa, holiday photo ops, and the annual Christmas tree lighting. The drone show, produced by Sky Glow Drone Productions of Branson, will begin around 5:30 p.m. immediately after the tree lighting. The Jefferson Street Plaza will offer the best viewing spot.

The celebration is free and presented by the Farmington Tourism and Convention Bureau, which encourages attendees to explore additional holiday events in the area, including Small Business Saturday and free horse-drawn carriage rides.
