Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Farmington is putting the finishing touches on major upgrades to the Farmington Water Park, just in time for the busy summer season.
According to Parks and Recreation Director Lainie Gault, one of the most noticeable improvements includes the installation of three brand-new water slides. These slides stand approximately ten feet taller than the previous structures, offering a more exciting experience for visitors.
Gault also says the park will introduce new programming features this summer, aimed at enhancing family-friendly entertainment and increasing community engagement.
City officials say the updated water park will officially reopen Memorial Day weekend, marking the start of the 2026 summer season.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to watch for additional announcements regarding hours of operation, special events, and programming schedules as opening day approaches.
