St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - A 21-year-old Farmington woman was injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 67 at St. Francois State Park.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:20 a.m. when a 2021 Ford Transit 350, driven by a 46-year-old man from Piedmont, attempted to cross northbound U.S. 67 and entered the path of a 2013 Honda Accord. Troopers say the driver of the Accord tried to avoid the collision by moving into the second lane, but the front left of her vehicle struck the rear of the Ford Transit.
The Farmington woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
