Fire Destroys Buck Mountain Road Home; No Injuries Reported

Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - At 11:41 Saturday morning, the Doe Run Fire Protection District was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 2500 block of Buck Mountain Road.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a single-story residence with heavy smoke and active flames showing from the B and C sides of the structure. Firefighters immediately pulled a hose line and began an aggressive fire attack.

An initial and primary search of the home was completed, and crews confirmed that no one was inside the residence at the time of the fire.

The blaze was quickly brought under control. Once the fire was extinguished, crews remained on scene to conduct salvage and overhaul operations to prevent any further damage and ensure hot spots were fully extinguished.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
