Former Employee Charged After Break-In at Belgrade Convenience Store

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Washington County man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he broke into a Belgrade convenience store and caused significant damage.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an alarm sounding at Roy’s Convenience Store in Belgrade on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

When deputies arrived at the business, they discovered significant amounts of blood inside the store along with noticeable property damage.

During the investigation, road deputies conducted an area canvass of the surrounding area. During that search, they located Jordan Van-Kruz McAnally, who had significant injuries to his hands.

Authorities say McAnally was brought back to the store where he admitted to detectives what he had done. Investigators also recognized McAnally as a former employee of the business.

Following the investigation, McAnally was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree property damage, and stealing under $150.

Bond in the case has been set at $25,000.
