Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A woman and three juveniles were injured Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 21 in Jefferson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 9:50 a.m. at 14505 MO-21 when a 2004 Ford F-150 driven by a 30-year-old woman from Cadet began skidding and rotating counterclockwise. The truck traveled off the left side of the roadway, and the passenger side struck a tree.
The driver suffered serious injuries. Authorities say she was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South. Three juvenile passengers, an 8-year-old girl, a 13-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy, also from Cadet, received moderate injuries. All three were wearing seat belts and were transported by ambulance to Children’s Hospital.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
