Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Firefighters from multiple departments responded to a large blaze Sunday morning on County Road 537 in Madison County, where a garage fire spread to a nearby mobile home.
Authorities say the initial call came in shortly before noon for a reported garage fire. By the time crews arrived, the flames had extended to a mobile home on the same property. No injuries were reported, however some firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion but were released at the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The Cherokee Pass Fire Protection District lead the response, with assistance from the Fredericktown Fire Department, Pilot Knob Fire Protection District, Farmington Fire Department, Doe Run Fire Protection District, Bismarck Fire Protection District, Leadwood Fire Protection District, and Wolf Creek Fire Protection District.
